Cybersecurity continues to be top of mind for school system leaders. Many organizations such as Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency, and K12 SIX provide resources for schools and districts to use to identify risks, protect networks and information security, and detect issues. When faced with a breach, leaders also need to be prepared to respond and recover.
Join RISTE and representatives from state and federal agencies and organizations for a work session on Cybersecurity Incident Response Plans. During the time together, you will have an opportunity to review and update your Incident Response Plan with feedback from colleagues from other districts as well as agency and organization cybersecurity experts.
We are looking at the beginning of February. We will formally send out registration information as we secure a site. This is open to the public-feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested!
