Bio
Deb Ramm is a National Board Certified Teacher. She was an educator in Johnston Public Schools from 1997 to 2024. She taught fourth grade and served as the district's K12 Instructional Technology Coordinator. She is past President of the RIASCD and also served as their Communications Coordinator. In 2015, she was selected as a PBS Lead Digital Innovator and in 2018 was selected as a national PBS Digital All Star. She had been both a participant and trainer for RITTI, was a founding member of EdUnderground and also a Fuse RI Fellow and advisor. Deb has appeared as a guest on the Meet Education Project Podcast and in a segment for PBS RI Classrooms. She is an advocate for personalization through blended learning and helps to build lighthouse classroom for her district and others throughout the state.
Deb has been the Professional Development Coordinator for RISTE, designing sessions for new and veteran teachers across the state, beginning RISTE’s Coaches Coffee monthly sessions, and connecting trainers/coaches/coordinators across the state through various RISTE events.
