Secondary Education Math Teacher at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts
returning to school where in 2011 as the only math teacher for 240 students, I helped students to score 4th highest in the state on that year's NECAP.
I have helped boost test scores and graduation rates at all schools where I have taught.
A lifetime and resourceful learner myself, I try to pass on my love of learning and practical and creative ways to problem solve to meet the demands of an in-class or standardized test question.
As a foster child and graduate of the Talent Development Program at URI, I am always looking to help every student have a brighter future.
