Bio
A science teacher by training, I have been a teacher for 24 yrs, my career took a new direction when I learned about Project Lead The Way (PLTW) and became a STEM educator. My passion for this program grew quickly as I eagerly received training in eight of the ten Gateway middle school courses. My enthusiasm for these courses prompted me to apply and eventually become a Master Teacher for these courses, only one of three in Rhode Island. I currently teach computer science at Ponaganset Middle School . It is my sincere hope that my excitement for computer science encourages students to pursue and attempt new ideas even when failure is a possibility. “Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” - Robert F.
