AP Computer Science Principles Course Professional Development

• The PD makes no assumptions about the background of the teacher, except that they are willing to learn.
• The PD includes all curricular materials necessary to teach the course.
• URI has U.S. National Science Foundation funding that allows it to waive PD costs for the 2016-2107 school year. There is no cost for this PD for SY 2016-17.
• URI Supports an on-going Community of Practice with URI staff and all teachers teaching this course. The CoP provides an online form, a phone/online teacher help line, and site visits/in-person help.
