Each Fall the RI School Superintendent Association and the RI Association of School Business Officials sponsor at Legal Institute.

The Legal Institute is an opportunity to hear from legal experts on a variety of topics including:

• Updates on State and Federal Laws
  
• Decisions by the RI Dept of Education
  
• Special Education issues
• School Construction

RISTE is organizing a panel discussion around Student Data Privacy which will include officials from Massachusetts schools who will describe issues in their districts and what they have done to respond as well as lessons learned.
