Session: OneNote and OneNote Class Notebook

Presented by Middletown and Foster-Glocester School Districts

“OneNote”     (The Game Changer)

OneNote and OneNote Class Notebook are the game changers you’ve been waiting for!

OneNote and OneNote Class Notebook are electronic versions of a paper notebook.

Microsoft OneNote is a note-taking and personal information management application for collecting, organizing and sharing digital information.  It is filled with tools for storing text, notes, photos, audio, video snippets, handwriting and similar content. OneNote collects and organizes the information making it available for searching as well as sharing with others.

Microsoft Class Notebook takes the power of digital media to a whole new level!  It will become the catalyst to convert your entire curriculum. The Class Notebook allows for "Read Only Teacher Content", "Collaboration Work Space" and a teacher accessible "Student Notebook", one for each student. The Class Notebook also contains "Learning Tools" to help support grammar and text to speech accommodations.

This Professional Development opportunity is being led by Ron Dumais and Cathy Palkovic. They will teach the basic skills on how to navigate OneNote and One Note Class Notebook as they showcase the engaging digital opportunities that they provide.  Participants are encouraged to bring in a few of their own curriculum materials to begin integrating these materials into OneNote.
