Google Apps for Educators Management Tools

A panel of local technology directors will discuss their efforts at managing Google Apps for Education in their environment. Policy implications (CIPA, COPPA) and 1:1 implementations will be included in the discussion.

We'll also hear from the folks at Hapara (via video conference link) about their Teacher Dashboard product and how it can simplify Google Apps management.

Teacher Dashboard makes it quick and easy for teachers to engage with students and monitor student work in most Google Applications with all activity organized by class and by student. Remote Control allows teachers to monitor what each student is doing online, open and close tabs on individual student devices or the entire class, and even send priority message to individuals and/or the class.
